The Training and Placement Cell plays a vital role in bridging the gap between students and industry. It maintains strong industry connections and organizes in-plant training, industrial visits, and recruitment drives to enhance student exposure. The cell also conducts soft skill development programs and provides career guidance through seminars, notice board updates, and job alerts. It helps students stay informed about opportunities in both government and private sectors, while also preparing schedules and policies for smooth placement activities.

In the sixth semester, students undergo a six-month internship program under ‘Apprentices
(Amendment) Act 1973′ provides practical exposure to industry operations. With collaborations from over 200 reputed companies, students gain hands-on training, real-world project experience, and insight into professional work environments. These industry tie-ups also enable guest lectures, workshops, and industrial visits, effectively bridging the gap between academic learning and industry demands. Such initiatives enhance students’ skills, build professional networks, and significantly improve their chances of successful placement.
